Arrival by air

Copenhagen Airport is only a 12 minute train ride away from Copenhagen Central Station by Inter City Train. The train departs directly from the arrival hall (Terminal 3) where you can also buy a ticket (approx. DKK 25). See "Arrival by train" for directions from the Central Station.

It is possible to take the Metro from the airport, but there is no Metro stop near The Rainbow.

A taxi ride from the airport directly to The Rainbow will cost around DKK 200. Tell the driver to go to ”Stroeget” by the City Hall Square. The first part of ”Strøget” is Frederiksberggade where you will find The Rainbow – 50 meters (150 feet) down on your right. The taxi cannot drive on this street.

For a more scenic taxi ride ask the driver to take you "along the beach". It is about the same distance as taking the high way.

Bus 5A will take you to and from Copenhagen Airport and stops at the City Hall Square – within a 2 minute walking distance from The Rainbow (DKK 25).
